About the Role
Sagen Advisory Recruitment Company is seeking a driven, meticulous, highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate Administrator/Bookkeeper based in the Mossel Bay area to join our rapidly expanding international accounting firm. This is an office-based role, offering a collaborative and supportive work environment in the beautiful Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and navigate software applications, including Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Karbon, and other relevant tools.
- Ensure proper organization and storage of all documents and files according to established processes.
- Research, implement, and train the team on new software features or tools to enhance productivity.
- Monitor adherence to internal processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose actionable improvements.
- Conduct routine audits of systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage repetitive tasks, such as proofreading and formatting, with consistency, patience, and attention to detail.
- Prepare reports.
- Scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
Requirements
- Matric with solid results.
- Bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- 2+ years of administration experience in an accounting, law, or corporate environment.
- Working experience on accounting software such as Xero, Sage, Pastel.
- Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook proficiency preferred.
Qualifications
- Diploma, degree, or certificate in finance or a related field (will be advantageous).
- Bookkeeping or accounting experience.
Salary & Benefits
R8 000 to R15,000 per month CTC, depending on qualifications and experience.
