About the Role

Our client, Profession Hub, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join their team in Kempton Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial accounting and reporting functions, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Support the preparation of Aftermarket budgets and forecasts within SAP.
Lead or participate in system upgrades, testing, and training initiatives.
Provide financial guidance and support regarding SAP processes and financial best practices.
Identify opportunities for streamlining financial processes.
Ensure adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Implement and maintain internal controls over financial transactions.
Liaise with finance team members and provide day-to-day support.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior finance staff.
Attend Aftermarket project review meetings. Ensure all costs and revenue on AF projects is correctly allocated.
Provide financial overview of the Aftermarket Ensure backlog of Aftermarket is accurate and updated monthly.
Supervise general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and perform the month-end/year-end close SAP processes.
Assist and prepare the monthly reporting package to head office.
Prepare monthly OI for Aftermarket.
Assist in BEE audit requirements.
Assist with quarterly BPC uploading of mapping tool and schedules.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of SAP ERP system.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
At least 3 years in a supervisory or senior-level accounting role.
Strong technical accounting knowledge in IFRS.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Team leadership and staff supervision capabilities.
Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
