About the Role
GAP Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an SAICA-accredited accounting professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with their financial needs. With your strong knowledge of Excel and commitment to completing the SAICA Training Programme, you will be well-equipped to tackle complex accounting tasks and contribute to the success of our consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Perform data entry and reconciliation tasks
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless financial operations
- Develop strong analytical skills to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (non-negotiable)
- SAICA-accredited post-graduate qualification preferred
- Proficient in English and Afrikaans
- Strong knowledge of Excel will be beneficial
