Job Description

About the Role

The Financial Accountant role is a key position within our Finance department, supporting the company’s financial processes and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial activities. As a CA(SA) with 0-3 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in preparing and reviewing Annual Financial Statements, managing the Treasury function, and providing support during Internal and Statutory audits.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review Annual Financial Statements and stakeholder reports.
Manage and oversee the Treasury function.
Administer Fixed Assets and Work-in-Progress processes.
Provide support during Internal and Statutory audits.
Prepare and reconcile financial accounts.
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
Aid in the interpretation and application of accounting standards.

Requirements

CA(SA) qualification.
0 – 3 years post-articles experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, and company taxation.

Qualifications

Grade 12 (Matric)
BCom Accounting
BCom Honours / CTA
