About the Role
The Financial Accountant role is a key position within our Finance department, supporting the company’s financial processes and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial activities. As a CA(SA) with 0-3 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in preparing and reviewing Annual Financial Statements, managing the Treasury function, and providing support during Internal and Statutory audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Annual Financial Statements and stakeholder reports.
- Manage and oversee the Treasury function.
- Administer Fixed Assets and Work-in-Progress processes.
- Provide support during Internal and Statutory audits.
- Prepare and reconcile financial accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
- Aid in the interpretation and application of accounting standards.
Requirements
- CA(SA) qualification.
- 0 – 3 years post-articles experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, and company taxation.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- BCom Accounting
- BCom Honours / CTA
