About the Role
A leading player in the plant hire and equipment rental industry is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to take ownership of the company’s financial operations, compliance, and strategic reporting. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, operationally driven environment and can partner with management to ensure financial stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Lead and motivate the finance team to achieve business objectives
- Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to drive business growth
- Collaborate with management to set financial targets and goals
- Review and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (BCom or equivalent)
- Professional qualification (CA(SA) or CIMA) preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role, ideally within the plant hire, construction, or heavy equipment sector
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
