Job Description
Responsibilities:

Requirements Management: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into detailed specifications (BRS/BRD) for systems development and enhancement projects.

System Analysis and Design: Utilize various modeling techniques (UML, process mapping, flow charts) to design and document system architecture, business workflows, and use cases, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose in both ERP and non-ERP environments.

Project and Change Management: Actively participate in and lead projects, ensuring effective planning, execution, and communication. Facilitate change management and provide training to internal teams on new FinTech tools and platforms.

Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary interface between the Systems Teams, Business Units, and third-party vendors, fostering collaboration to achieve business goals.

FinTech and Cellular System Support: Provide ongoing systems and business support for the VAS and Cellular business areas. Identify opportunities for process improvements through FinTech innovations and assist in the implementation of new solutions.

Quality Assurance and Testing: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of digital products and system integrations. Conduct defect management and ensure adherence to change control governance principles.

Problem Solving and Reporting: Diagnose system problems, propose solutions, and execute action plans. Compile and present quantitative and qualitative reports on system performance, and use data to build reports and dashboards for business users.

Risk and Defect Management: Conduct risk assessments and facilitate cross-functional mitigation strategies. Manage and track defects through their lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution.
Minimum Requirements:

Education: Grade 12 Certificate/Matric and a relevant Degree or Higher National Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. A Project Management qualification is preferred.

Experience:
-
Minimum of 3 years in the FinTech or financial services industry.

Approximately 5 years in Apparel Retail and Systems.

Proven track record of implementing FinTech solutions.

Experience with business process improvement, BRD/BRS documentation, test execution, and working with third parties.

Knowledge & Skills:
-
Working knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Strong understanding of SDLC, Change Control, and Defect management.

Proficiency with UML and basic Oracle/SQL.

Familiarity with PMBOK, BABOK, and POPIA principles.
