About the Role
A well-established 4-star hotel in Cape Town is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Group & FIT Reservationist to join its Reservations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing group and FIT bookings while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional guest service throughout the reservation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle Group and FIT reservations from enquiry to confirmation
- Prepare and send quotations, contracts, and confirmation letters
- Liaise with Sales, Front Office, and Revenue Management to ensure accurate room allocations and rates
- Manage booking amendments, cancellations, and rooming lists
- Maintain accurate reservation records on the hotel PMS
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Reservations role within a 4-star or similar hotel environment
- Proven experience handling Group and FIT bookings
- Working knowledge of a hotel PMS (Opera or similar preferred)
