Job Title: Payroll Administrator (Entry-Level). Fully billingual in English and Afrikaans Role Overview Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to support the payroll function by assisting with the accurate and timely processing of employee pay. This role is well suited to someone at the early stage of their payroll or HR career who is keen to develop their knowledge of payroll systems, legislation and best practice. Key Responsibilities Respond to employee payroll queries in a professional and helpful manner Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files Assist with payroll reporting and audits as required Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements Process all UIF documentation Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy Good numeracy skills Basic IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel Well organised with the ability to meet deadlines Clear written and verbal communication skills Willingness to learn payroll software, legislation and procedures Knowledge & Experience Previous administrative experience preferred Exposure to payroll or HR environments is advantageous but not essential Basic understanding of payroll processes (full training will be provided) Personal Attributes Reliable and trustworthy Discreet when handling confidential information Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and develop Able to work independently as well as part of a team
