About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Site Agent/Engineer to join our team in Sandton. As a key member of our construction industry client’s project management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects from planning to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and management of construction projects
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
- Monitor and ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
- Assist in the management of project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks
- Assist in resolving any issues or delays that may arise during construction
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and records
- Keep up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Valid driver’s license
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (if applicable)
