About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory and Process Controller to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As an Inventory and Process Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our inventory management system, ensuring that all stock levels are accurate and up-to-date. You will also be involved in conducting cycle counts, monthly and periodic stock takes, and analyzing stock movement data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory levels
- Managing monthly and periodic stock takes to maintain inventory records
- Analyzing stock movement data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Maintaining inventory master data in our ERP system
- Implementing and enforcing inventory control policies and procedures
- Identifying and mitigating inventory risks
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience as an Inventory/Stock controller within the FMCG industry
- Proficiency in MS Office, Advanced Excel, and SYSPRO
- Proven experience with cycle counts, monthly and periodic stock takes, and stock movement analysis
- Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills
- Proactive approach to inventory management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Logistics
- Additional training or certification in Inventory Management (e.g. SAPICS, APICS, CIPS) is advantageous
