About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Lead to join our team in Ekurhuleni. As a key member of our quality management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our quality systems, documentation, and reporting meet regulatory and customer requirements. With your strong leadership skills and experience in quality control/quality assurance, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement updated procedures and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain quality systems, documentation, and reporting
- Coordinate and oversee quality inspections, testing, and sample management across production
- Manage non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to closure
- Lead internal and external audits, including corrective action follow-ups
- Act as the key liaison between Quality, Production, Logistics, suppliers, and customers on quality matters
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quality Management, Food Safety, or a related field
- 46 years of experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance within a manufacturing or food packaging environment
- Proven experience leading audits and managing quality systems
- Strong working knowledge of HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001
