About the Role

Join our team as a Field Guide in Vaalwater, where you will be responsible for leading game drives, hosting guests, and providing exceptional customer service in a 4/5* lodge environment. As an experienced guide, you will be part of our safari team, conducting bush walks, horse-mounted safaris, and other activities that showcase the beauty of nature.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Game Drives: Lead guided game drives for guests, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
Hosting Duties: Provide exceptional guest service, hosting events, and assisting with daily operations.
Guest Activity and Airport Transfers: Arrange airport transfers, plan guest activities, and ensure all logistical requirements are met.
Bush Walks: Conduct guided bush walks to showcase the unique flora and fauna of the area.

Requirements

Grade 12
At least 2 years previous experience in a 4/5* lodge environment
FGASA Level 1 / 2 and all relevant guiding qualifications
Interest or experience in horse riding will be an advantage

Qualifications

Completed Grade 12
Relevant guiding qualification (FGASA Level 1 / 2)
Valid RSA Driver’s License
PDP First Aid Certificate
Rifle Handling SAPS Firearm Competency
DEAT Registration
