About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing or electrical systems, painting, and carpentry work.
- Conduct inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds to identify maintenance need.
- Respond to maintenance requests from staff and tenants in a timely manner.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance work performed.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
- Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and other seasonal maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements
- NQF level 4 required
- 2 to 3 years experience in a similar field or relevant experience/qualification in plumbing work or electrical work is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Completed Matric certificate
