About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Accountant to join our client’s team in Cape Town. As a key member of the accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records, as well as providing expert advice on financial matters. With a strong background in accounting software and ERP systems, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Perform budgeting and forecasting for the organization
Provide expert advice on financial matters to senior management
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

Professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA)
3+ years working experience as a Financial Accountant
MS Office Suite (Advanced level in Excel – Pivots, vlookups, xlookups etc.)
Knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems (Syspro is preferred)
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong administrative skills

Qualifications

Professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA)
