About the Role
GAP Consulting is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team in Durban. As an experienced Millwright, you will be responsible for performing mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks, including hydraulic experience, on machinery and equipment within the automotive manufacturing industry. With a strong background in trade-tested millwrighting, you will have the opportunity to work with machine blue prints and contribute to planned and unplanned maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks
- Read and interpret machine blue prints
- Carry out hydraulic repairs and maintenance
- Conduct planned and unplanned maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience as Millwright within the Automotive Manufacturing Industry
- Trade-tested Millwright with strong knowledge and experience in Mechanical and Electrical
- Ability to read Machine Blue Prints
- Hydraulic experience will be highly advantageous
Qualifications
- Completed Matric or equivalent qualification (if applicable)
Salary & Benefits
Hourly rate of up to R 180, based on experience. Guaranteed Annual Bonus. Provident Fund Contribution.
