About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Assistant to join their team in the chemical industry. The ideal candidate will assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our products and services. This individual will work closely with the marketing team to create engaging content, manage social media platforms, and support various marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Post event mailers, after an event capture and update databases. Passing on any additional requests to relevant people
- Update the POPIA databases
- Capture all internal lead generation inquiries
- Online event registration, capture, filter, and report
- General marketing admin work
- Population and generation of reports on database effectiveness
- Social media, understand the basis of Meta and how to utilize their cross-platform abilities
- ADHOC requirements will be instructed in line with marketing and sales requirements
- Print and digital, from design to final production
- Brief design to be supplied or transcribed
- Arrange contractors workshops.
- Support the National Marketing Manager in evaluating and establishing the marketing plan and strategy by assembling and analyzing set objectives, planning, and organizing promotional presentations, and updating event details.
- Marketing and promoting the internal and external showrooms of the group
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 2 Years of previous experience in a marketing assistant position
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and social media platforms
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Must have a valid code 08 driver’s license
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
