About the Role

Makhado Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager: Investigations & Conflict Resolution to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, facilitate complaint resolution, and manage investigations and conflict resolution in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for an individual with strong knowledge and experience in dealing with cultural, religious, and linguistic rights of communities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the functions of the Unit and provide strategic leadership
Facilitate the resolution of complaints
Provide legal services support to the Commission and the public on cultural, religious, and linguistic rights
Manage the execution of investigations and conflict resolution
Manage the implementation of legislative review and policy influence
Manage budget and use human resources effectively

Requirements

5 years of experience in the Legal field at middle management level
Strong knowledge and experience in dealing with cultural, religious, and linguistic rights of communities
Knowledge of interpretation, application, and limitation of the law
Computer skills
People management skills
Trustworthiness and ability to maintain high level of confidentiality

Qualifications

A 3-year appropriate Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or any other relevant field
Post Graduate Degree is an added advantage
