About the Role
We are seeking a talented Python Software Developer to join our team at e-Merge IT recruitment, specializing in clean energy solutions. As a key member of our global engineering teams, you will contribute to the development of innovative projects that harness solar energy and help combat climate change.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor AWS services and improve monitoring infrastructure
- Contribute to the vision of global engineering teams to deliver end-to-end product features
- Design, develop, and optimize highly scalable distributed SaaS products using Python, React, and SQL/NoSQL databases
- Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment, emphasizing TDD and code reviews
Requirements
- 5+ years development experience with a keen interest and core focus in Python
- On the front end, you are skilled in React and TypeScript
- 3+ years of system design and delivery using AWS (preferred), Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure
- Strong understanding of Cloud Native Architecture and Microservices; an ability to leverage Cloud Native Architecture, Microservices, and Event-Driven Architecture
- Experience designing and maintaining REST APIs
- Experience with data modeling and database schema design
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (essential)
