About the Role
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects related to control systems, electrical engineering, and instrumentation. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide technical guidance and support for control systems, electrical engineering, and instrumentation projects.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Ensure all projects meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate project status, issues, and solutions to stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
- Monitor project budgets and ensure financial targets are met.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and change orders.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in project management within the control systems, electrical, and instrumentation sectors.
- Proficiency in control systems design, electrical engineering principles, and instrumentation technologies.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex technical information clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Instrumentation, or a related field. PM certification is a plus.
