About the Role
Hire Resolve, a top-tier recruitment firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager (Grain) to join their team in Malmesbury, Western Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of contracts and procurement of grain products, ensuring compliance with legal and company regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all aspects of contracts and procurement of the category.
- Providing purchasing services including enquiries; adjudication of tenders; placing orders; compiling/administration of contracts and settling contract disputes.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and company regulations.
- Establishing and optimizing the logistics channels and ensuring the availability of products procured as well as delivered timeously.
- Ability to lead a high-impact team and collaborate with different stakeholders.
- Driving automation/optimization of the grain procurement system – reporting functional management information and trend analyses.
Requirements
- Relevant Bachelors Degree (BCom or Agriculture Economics).
- Knowledge of the JSE Agricultural Products and Derivative Dealers Exam will be an advantage.
- 6 Years of related grain procurement experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate and/or negotiate with a high level of proficiency.
- Excellent MS Office & Procurement supplier/dealer integrated systems skills.
