About the Role
The Commercial Sales Consultant plays a critical role in driving sales across both personal and commercial insurance lines, focusing on converting leads into sales by offering bank-approved insurance solutions for residential homes, commercial properties, and related insurance products. This position operates within a target-driven call centre environment, requiring strong commercial insurance knowledge and relationship-building capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients who have recently purchased properties, with the objective of generating quotes and closing sales.
- Build, manage, and maintain a strong sales pipeline through effective lead management and consistent follow-ups.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs on an ongoing basis.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products for properties used for residential purposes, commercial use, and trust-related policies.
- Position insurance products effectively by understanding client needs and offering appropriate solutions.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) essential.
- RE5 qualification essential.
- FAIS-compliant qualification essential.
- Minimum of 12 years commercial sales experience within a call centre environment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a high-volume, target-driven role.
