About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client in Vereeniging is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join their team. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, ensuring that production targets are met, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing production plans and schedules
- Monitoring production processes and making adjustments as needed
- Inventory control
- Ensuring that production targets are met and deadlines are followed
- Overseeing the quality control process and ensuring that products meet or exceed customer expectations
- Managing and training production staff
- Identifying areas for improvement in the production process and implementing changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to health and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Previous experience in a production management role
- Degree in Operations Management, Production Management or related field
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of production processes and techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
