About the Role

Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tailings Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Tailings Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the design, construction, and operation of tailings storage facilities and associated infrastructure in Sandton.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and construction of tailings storage facilities and associated infrastructure
Manage all aspects of the tailings management system
Conduct geotechnical investigations and monitoring
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
Implement best practices for tailings management
Provide technical input and guidance on tailings-related projects

Requirements

BSc or BEng degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in tailings and mineral residue facilities
Strong knowledge of tailings engineering principles and practices
Proficiency in relevant software and tools
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Qualifications

Completed BSc or BEng degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field
