About the Role

The Hiring House is seeking a skilled Hybrid Digital Designer to join our team in Bryanston, Johannesburg. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating visually impactful digital assets and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver campaigns and brand communications. With a focus on versatility, creativity, and digital execution across multiple formats and platforms, this is an exciting opportunity for a talented designer to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

Design and produce digital assets such as banners, carousels, and social media graphics for campaigns and brand communications.
Create visually impactful PowerPoint presentations and digital collateral.
Adapt and optimize designs for different digital platforms and formats.
Collaborate with creative, marketing, and account teams in Belgium via digital platforms.
Ensure brand consistency and high-quality standards across all deliverables.
Stay updated with the latest digital design trends, tools, and technologies.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently in a remote setting.

Requirements

1-4 years of experience in digital design or a similar hybrid role.
Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of digital work (banners, social media, presentations, etc.).
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD), Figma, and PowerPoint.
Experience designing for social media, web, and digital campaigns.
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and digital best practices.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.

This is a hybrid digital design role, not a pure graphic design or coding position. The focus is on versatility, creativity, and digital execution across multiple formats and platforms. Please note: This position is not remote. Candidates must be able to work in person at our Bryanston, Johannesburg office.
