About the Role
Our client, a fast-growing leader in the beauty and haircare industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to join their Sandton office. The company manufactures high-quality hair extensions designed for diverse Southern African hair types, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability and the celebration of natural beauty.
Key Responsibilities
- Support full recruitment cycle: job posting, shortlisting, interviews, verifications and onboarding
- Maintain employee files, payroll data, job descriptions and organograms
- Track attendance, leave and compile accurate monthly payroll inputs
- Manage onboarding, induction, resignations and employee exit processes
- Ensure legislative compliance (BCEA, LRA, OHS, EE, POPI)
- Assist with CCMA and labour law-related matters when required
- Process expense claims and maintain proper documentation
Requirements
- Matric (NQF4) BCom HR / Industrial Psychology or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Good numerical ability and accuracy
- Solid understanding of SA labour laws and HR compliance
