About the Role

Our client, a renowned 5-star boutique hotel, is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a pivotal role in ensuring the property remains beautifully maintained, safe, and fully operational at all times, delivering an exceptional guest experience for which they are renowned. This position requires a proactive approach to daily maintenance checks, preventative maintenance schedules, and responding to urgent repairs.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily maintenance checks across the hotel properties
Carry out preventative maintenance schedules and respond to urgent repairs
Attend to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general daily maintenance tasks
Maintain all equipment, tools, and machinery in good working order
Oversee contractors and service providers when required
Ensure compliance with health & safety standards
Support the hotel team with any facility-related needs
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and inventory levels
Be able to call suppliers to enquire about availability on tools, equipment, etc.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician/Handyman (hospitality experience advantageous)
Valid drivers license preferred
Ability to use a computer (semi-skilled)
