About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Group Marketing Manager to join our team in Cape Town City Bowl. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, guest acquisition, and revenue growth for our national hotel chain. This is an exciting opportunity to lead marketing initiatives, manage budgets, and collaborate with various teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with the hotel group’s overall business objectives and brand guidelines.
- Lead marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing (website, social media, email, online advertising) and traditional marketing methods.
- Manage budgets effectively to maximize ROI on marketing activities.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment and synergy in marketing efforts.
- Analyze market trends and conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
- Manage brand and trade marketing campaigns, maintain marketing activity calendars, and ensure consistency across all channels.
- Oversee website management and content to ensure the hotel group’s website is up-to-date, engaging, and optimized for search engines.
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and brand visibility.
- Drive guest loyalty by developing and executing strategies to build guest loyalty and encourage repeat business.
- Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 Years Hospitality Marketing Management Experience.
- Proven experience in strategic marketing roles, particularly within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices and tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of the South African market and competitive landscape.
