About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Programme Administrator to join our team in Johannesburg. As the primary point of contact for programme participants, partners, and funders, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations of assigned programmes, ensuring smooth delivery, and maintaining accurate records and databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day operations of assigned programmes
- Develop work plans, timelines, and schedules to ensure smooth delivery
- Monitor progress and prepare regular status reports
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for programme participants, partners, and funders, facilitating meetings, workshops, and events
- Administration & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation, preparing reports for management, funders, and other stakeholders
- Financial Oversight: Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting, monitoring programme expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Team Support: Provide guidance and support to programme staff and volunteers, coordinating training sessions and capacity-building activities
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in programme or project coordination
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related field
