About the Role
Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for the energy sector? Our client in Richmond is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead their sales team and drive growth in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve targets
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company goals
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners, brokers, and stakeholders
- Identify market opportunities and drive product innovation
- Monitor sales performance, analyse trends, and adjust strategies as needed
- Collaborate with other departments (product, marketing, operations) to ensure alignment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of sales experience in microinsurance or a similar field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of microinsurance principles, products, and regulations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Fluency in English and local languages (e.g., Afrikaans, Sesotho, etc.)
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Willingness to travel
- Valid drivers licence
- Own vehicle
