About the Role
A Wine Estate in Stellenbosch/Brackenfell is seeking a reliable Storeman to join their team. As the face of the store, you will be responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are received, inspected, and recorded accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Check packages upon delivery to ensure they match orders and are not damaged
- Unload packages and verify contents
- Store items in correct storerooms or issue immediately to designated stores
- Implement stock rotation and ensure goods remain within their expiry date
- Receive, check, weigh, and store food and beverage products delivered to the farm
- Assist in placing orders and manage inventory levels
- Maintain neat and tidy storerooms and record all stock issued
Requirements
- Basic math skills
- Adequate physical strength to unload deliveries
- Ability to work well under pressure and communicate clearly in English (written and spoken)
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and ability to take initiative
Qualifications
- Grade 12
