About the Role
Our client is a specialist provider of metal fabrication and engineering solutions to the manufacturing, mining, construction, and industrial sectors. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business across manufacturing, construction, mining, and industrial sectors
- Generate leads through cold calling, email, social media outreach, and site visits
- Visit client sites to understand fabrication needs and identify quoting opportunities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Assist customers in understanding capabilities such as cutting, welding, bending, assembly, and finishing
- Support quotation process by gathering technical info and liaising with estimators and engineers
- Follow up on outstanding quotes and assist with closing sales
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or sales-related role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Technical aptitude or a strong interest in engineering and metal fabrication
- Self-driven, eager to learn, and comfortable working independently
- Able to manage multiple opportunities and follow through on leads
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in engineering, sales, or a related field (advantageous)
