About the Role
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Health Merchandiser to join their Standerton store team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring our basic merchandising standards are properly executed and maintained, while providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Restock merchandise as per business requirements.
- Ensure delivered stock/stock pulled from the store room is stored and packed in the correct space.
- Facilitate rotation of stock on a regular First In First Out basis.
- Assist with general stocktaking.
- Ensure front shop shelves and products are neatly presented and visible at all times, with correct labels and pricing.
- Maintain daily physical upkeep of store and merchandise displays, and be responsible for your designated stock in the store room as well as on the shop floor.
- Assist with back shopping.
- Ensure all customer stock queries are dealt with and resolved.
- Maintain health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification
- Up to 6 months retail experience
- Computer literate
- MS Office proficiency
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree within the Health Focus category (advantageous)
- At least 1 year retail experience (advantageous)
