As an Oncology Receptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and manage doctors’ appointments and diaries
- Operate the switchboard and handle phone queries
- Update patient information in Elixir, Logbox, and physical files
- Liaise with walk-ins and assist with follow-ups
- Communicate clearly with patients about appointment times and delays
- Support doctors with administrative tasks
Requirements
- Experience in a medical or oncology setting essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, calm, and well-presented
- Able to multitask and manage time effectively
- Tech-savvy, especially with medical systems (Elixir, Logbox)
- Fluent in English; other South African languages are a plus
Qualifications
- Matric essential, diploma or degree in Business Admin advantageous
