About the Role
The Maintenance Manager position at Farm Manager SA requires a skilled and experienced individual to oversee the maintenance of farm equipment, infrastructure, and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- General maintenance of farm equipment and buildings
- Electrical maintenance and repairs
- Building maintenance and upkeep
- Welding and lathe operations
- Servicing of pumps, vehicles, and pellet machines
- Performing routine maintenance tasks as required
Requirements
- Mechanical/Maintenance qualification advantageous
- At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role
- Extensive repair and maintenance knowledge of farm equipment, irrigation systems, and building maintenance
- Proven experience in maintaining the following:
- General maintenance
- Electrical
- Building
- Welding & lathe
- Pumps
- Servicing of vehicles (please provide a list of vehicles?)
- Pellet machine
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Valid driver’s license
