About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team at Bright Placements (PTY) Ltd in Gauteng, South Africa. As a leading recruitment agency, we specialize in connecting top talent with exceptional clients. Our ideal candidate will have a strong track record of closing new business deals and selling high-value projects in the solar PV, renewable energy, electrical engineering, or capital equipment industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and close new business deals for commercial and industrial clients
- Sell high-value projects (R500k – multi-million rand) with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Develop strong relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Utilize CRM and MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) to streamline sales processes
- Work independently as a self-motivated and target-driven individual
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
- 3–5+ years’ experience in new business sales, preferably in solar PV, renewable energy, electrical engineering solutions, or capital equipment B2B sales
- Proven track record of closing new business deals
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Business, Engineering, Electrical, or Renewable Energy (advantage)
- Formal solar or renewable energy training/certification (advantage)
