About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Designer (Geotechnical) to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our engineering design team, you will be responsible for leading geotechnical design projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical design and a proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site investigations and gather data to inform geotechnical design decisions
- Lead design development and implementation for geotechnical projects
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless integration of geotechnical design elements
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and contractors
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or have evidence of active progress toward registration
- 5-8 years of experience in engineering design
- Proficient in design software and FEM analysis tools
- Knowledge of geotechnical design standards and ISO procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
