About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Projects Manager to join our team in Namibia. As a strategic thinker with strong project management expertise, you will be responsible for managing projects and driving their implementation across various sectors. You will have a proven track record of managing multi-project portfolios and budgets, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders and make a sustainable impact in Namibia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects and drive their implementation
  • Implement, manage, and oversee various projects
  • Oversee and drive all ongoing projects while the CEO retains strategic oversight and ownership of new projects in development
  • Coordinate stakeholders, lead staff, evaluate and recommend grants, troubleshoot operational challenges, and prepare high-quality submissions for the Board
  • Prepare clear recommendations to the CEO on approvals, rejections, or modifications

Requirements

  • A Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience having managed projects is essential for the position
  • Experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting is essential for the role
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities are required
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite with knowledge of project management tools
  • Very structured, execution-oriented, and detail-focused

Qualifications

  • A Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field (e.g. Bachelor’s degree)
