About the Role
A well-established construction and mining services operation is seeking an experienced Planner Construction Works to support site-based construction and infrastructure projects. The role focuses on developing, managing, and controlling construction schedules, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain construction project schedules
- Establish baseline programmes, milestones, and work sequences
- Monitor construction progress and report on schedule performance
- Identify risks and delays and propose recovery plans
- Update programmes to reflect site conditions and approved changes
- Liaise with project managers, site teams, engineers, and contractors
- Conduct site visits to verify progress and align planning with execution
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
- Support management decision-making with accurate planning data
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management
- 37 years of experience on construction, civil, mining, or infrastructure projects
- Proven experience in site-based construction planning
- Proficiency in planning tools such as: Primavera P6 (preferred) MS Project or similar software
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and resource planning
- Good reporting and analytical skills

- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management
