About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, professional couple with a strong work ethic to join our team as Club Managers in Pietermaritzburg. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing club operations, coordinating events, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall management of club operations, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment
- Coordination and execution of functions and events
- Staff supervision, scheduling, and training
- Stock control, cash handling, and basic financial reporting
- Liaison with club management, members, and service providers
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across the club
Requirements
- Proven bar or hospitality management experience
- Strong understanding of stock control, cash-ups, and GP management
- Knowledge of liquor laws and responsible service
- Experience training and supervising bar staff
- Proven kitchen or catering management experience
- Strong understanding of food preparation, hygiene, and kitchen operations
- Experience with menu planning, stock control, and cost management
- Ability to manage and supervise kitchen staff
