About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Tour Plan Rate & System Specialist to join a luxury travel agency based in Cape Town or Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Tour Plan and a strong attention to detail, providing excellent support to internal teams. As a key member of our team, you will manage supplier contracts, maintain accurate data within the Tour Plan system, and collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate product availability and rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm contract terms, policies, and special offers.
- Maintain organised records of all contracts, agreements, and updates.
- Capture and update supplier rates, terms, product notes, and live availability links accurately.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure all rates and policies are correct in Tour Plan.
- Work closely with reservations, finance, and Tour Plan support teams to resolve system queries.
- Communicate contract changes and updates to the wider travel team.
- Test system upgrades and participate in ad hoc Tour Plan projects.

- Proven experience in a Tour Plan Rate & System Specialist role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and departments.
- Problem-solving and system troubleshooting capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to train colleagues effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (if applicable).
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R45,000, negotiable dependent on experience. Flexible working arrangements: remote, hybrid, or in-office (Cape Town or Johannesburg).
