Key Responsibilities
Practice Operations
- Own daily operations across all four practices
- Ensure efficient patient flow, scheduling discipline, and reduced waiting times
- Maximize doctor utilization through structured scheduling
- Manage stock, consumables, and facility readiness
- Resolve patient complaints professionally and decisively
- Maintain consistent operational standards across all sites
People Management
- Directly manage front-desk staff, nurses, and admin teams
- Implement rosters, leave planning, and performance accountability
- Drive a culture of ownership, productivity, and service excellence
- Address performance issues in line with labour legislation
Marketing & Growth Execution
- Drive walk-in patient growth across all practices
- Build and manage local partnerships (pharmacies, corporates, schools, universities, community organisations)
- Execute on-the-ground marketing and growth initiatives
- Activate cross-referrals within the wider Curo ecosystem
Commercial Performance
You will be directly accountable for:
- 30 patients per practice per day
- 55% gross margin
- Strong doctor utilisation
- Increased revenue and repeat visits per patient
- PMB registration and chronic care optimisation
- Tight cost control without compromising care quality
Systems, Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure effective use of all practice management systems
- Monitor operational data and translate insights into action
- Maintain compliance with medical aid processes, POPIA, HPCSA-related operational standards, and basic labour law.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in:
- Healthcare practice management and/or
- Pharmacy or pharmaceutical operations
- Multi-site operational experience is a strong advantage
Profile
- Hands-on operator with a strong execution bias
- Commercially driven and outcome-focused
- Confident people manager with operational authority
- Comfortable working across multiple locations
- Structured, disciplined, and highly accountable
Work Model
- Based in Bloemfontein
- Regular travel between practices required
- Occasional after-hours availability as operational demands require
