About the Role

An opportunity is available for an experienced Commercial Workshop Foreman (Trucks) to join our team in Ermelo. As a skilled and dedicated individual, you will be responsible for overseeing the workshop team and ensuring the efficient maintenance of commercial trucks. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and technical expertise, this role offers a unique blend of leadership and hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a labour force in a fast-paced dealership workshop environment
Assess and report on staff performance to ensure high standards
Discuss and negotiate agreeable solutions with customers to resolve problems
Maintain personal technical knowledge and skills through continuous learning

Requirements

Diesel trade tested with valid certification
Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within the commercial truck industry
Previous experience in a dealership workshop environment is essential
Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines and commercial truck systems
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines

Qualifications

Diesel trade tested with valid certification
Valid Code 14 licence is an advantage
