About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced CIT Crew Member to join our team at our George Branch. As a key member of our cash-in-transit operations, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering client funds, ensuring secure transportation of consignments, and maintaining open communication with controllers. If you have a passion for security and excellent customer service skills, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver client money
- Receive, sort, and distribute consignments
- Report all delays to the Branch Manager immediately
- Maintain radio contact with controllers
- Take preventative action towards any suspicious activity
Requirements
- Clear criminal record
- PSIRA accredited with a minimum Grade C qualification
- Cash In Transit (CIT) certificate
- Firearm competency with a minimum handgun (for business purposes) qualification
- At least 2 years experience in security industry or similar role (advantageous at FSG)
- Clear disciplinary record
- Valid drivers license is an advantage
