About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at our Head Office in Midrand. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic office space while ensuring that all areas of the Head Office meet our high standards of cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the Head Office and communal areas on a daily basis.
Develop routines to ensure all areas of the Head Office are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
Clean and stock up the canteen with necessary products at all times.
Be available at all times, throughout operational hours, to clean up as required.
Ensure refuse does not contain any products or valued goods before disposing it.
Vacuum carpeted areas (meeting and training rooms) daily as per standard operating procedures.
Vacuum other carpeted areas once a week as per standard operating procedures.
Dust desks, chairs, telephones, shelves, photocopiers, etc. in offices and meeting rooms as per standard operating procedures.

Requirements

Cleaning experience is essential for this role.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Effective communication skills are necessary when interacting with customers or staff members.
Trustworthiness and honesty are crucial in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness.
Strong attention to detail is required to ensure that all areas of the Head Office meet our hygiene and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

Grade 12 or Matric (no formal education mentioned)
