About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Supervisor to join our client’s team, a well-established manufacturer of electronic equipment for the South African mining industry. Key Responsibilities
- Allocate, monitor, and review administrative workloads and priorities
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of administrative tasks
- Oversee document control, filing systems, and record management
- Implement and maintain administrative policies, procedures, and controls
- Act as a liaison between administration, finance, sales, and production teams
- Review and approve administrative documentation, reports, and correspondence
- Assist with order processing, invoicing, and stock-related administration
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and workflow
- Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to administrative staff
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) essential
- Relevant administrative or business qualification advantageous
- Minimum 46 years experience in an administrative role, with at least 12 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity
- Strong organisational, planning, and leadership skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
