About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Passenger Vehicle Stock Controller to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our sales and finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate records of all new and used passenger vehicle stock, as well as conducting regular physical stock counts and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all new and used passenger vehicle stock
- Ensure all vehicles are correctly receipted, stocked, and costed on the dealer management system
- Monitor vehicle movements between locations, workshops, and dealerships
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile variances
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all vehicle documentation is complete, accurate, and filed correctly. Manage vehicle registration papers, license discs, and delivery notes.
- Prepare documentation for audits and management reporting
- Sales & Finance Support: Liaise closely with Sales, Finance, and Admin departments to ensure smooth vehicle deliveries. Release vehicles only once all financial and compliance requirements are met. Assist with invoicing, cost checks, and margin accuracy
- Monitor aged stock and report concerns to management
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Passenger Vehicle Stock Controller within a dealership environment
- Strong understanding of dealer management systems (e.g. Kerridge, Autoline, Automate, etc.)
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Motor Industry experience is ESSENTIAL!
