About the Role
A leading vehicle dealership in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Dealer Principal to oversee its Sales, Parts, and Service departments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing dealerships and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall dealership and staff for the Sales department, Parts department, and Service department
- Monitor and control vehicles and parts in line with customer demand and projected sales
- Maintain and increase market penetration as expected by manufacturer to meet company objectives
- Improve stock turnover, reduce stock holding, and implement changes to increase sales
- Report to manufacturer and head office related to monthly targets
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the capacity as Dealer Principal with a vehicle dealership
- Experience with corporate branded dealerships and volume brands like Hyundai, Kia, Toyota, Ford, Suzuki, Haval, Mazda
- Solid track record and excellent management skills
- Tertiary education or Dealer Development programme completed
