About the Role

A Customer Support Specialist is required to provide exceptional account services support to Key Account Managers, Customer Support Technicians, and Technical Experts in our Southern African Region. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of spares and services, generating quotes, and assisting with daily service tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Timely delivery of spares and services to customers
Service data analysis to assist Key Account Managers with data insight
Generation of quotes whilst liaising frequently with Technical Experts, Customer Support Technicians, and Key Account Managers
Proactive building of rapport with Customer Support Technician, Asset Support, and Sales Team Members
Daily service support tasks including administration and management of critical customer data
Participation in weekly Sales Meetings

Requirements

An applicable Diploma or Qualification in Engineering and relevant computer courses, especially in Microsoft Office
Highly experienced in preparing quotations & proposals using Word
Strong Excel skills for pricing and sales data analysis
Well-developed verbal & written communication skills in a clear and concise manner
Strong interpersonal skills with in-depth after-sales support experience in the mining sector

Qualifications

Diploma or Qualification in Engineering
Relevant computer courses in Microsoft Office
