About the Role

Ikwezi Mining (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lab Supervisor to join our team in Port Elizabeth. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our operations. With your expertise in analytical chemistry and experience in quality control, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our Integrated (Environmental, Safety and Quality) Management System requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure raw material verification, in-process, and final product samples
Responsible for arrangement and planning of shift work and overtime control
Maintain, control, and ensure correct quality and quantity product
Maintain and update work instruction,
Maintain quality management systems
Update Quality reports
Training and ensuring competency of personnel
Work according to Integrated (Environmental, Safety and Quality) Management System requirements.
Housekeeping

Requirements

National Diploma Analytical Chemistry
2 – 4 Years Experience
Quality Control/Laboratory experience
Familiar with Quality Management System
Experience in highly sophisticated computer driven instruments.
Ability to handle high volume workload and meet tight deadlines
