Job Description

Minimum requirements Matric certification Degree/Diploma Previous experience in sales Building, ceiling, and plaster knowledge will be advantageous. Willing to travel long distances and Computer literate. Must have own reliable transport Strong negotiation and closing skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Key Responsibilities Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the building and construction sector Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients (contractors, developers, builders, hardware stores, architects) Conduct regular site visits and client meetings to promote products and services Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and tenders Negotiate pricing, terms, and closing of sales deals Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs Coordinate with internal departments (dispatch, finance, operations) to ensure smooth order fulfilment Manage customer queries, complaints, and after-sales support Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM systems Submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management. Regional-based sales Key account management Travelling to each customer on a fortnightly or monthly basis. Product knowledge. Technical advice on both plaster and ceiling/drywall installation.
